Settings: Data & Privacy

This section gives you direct control over how your data is handled and displayed, empowering you to fine-tune your privacy settings.

Retention Policy

This setting controls the automated "shredding" protocol for your call history and any associated recordings. You can decide how long this data persists before it is permanently deleted from our servers.

  • 24 HOURS (Max Security): Data is deleted 24 hours after a call is completed. Recommended for maximum privacy.
  • 7 DAYS (Standard): A balance between privacy and the convenience of having recent history available.
  • 30 DAYS (Extended): For users who need longer-term access to their call records.
  • INDEFINITE (No Shredding): Disables the automated deletion protocol. Your data will be retained until you manually delete it or change this setting.

Session Timeout

This feature protects your account from unauthorized access on an unattended device. It sets a period of inactivity after which the application will automatically lock itself, requiring your PIN to re-enter.

  • Options: You can set the timeout from 15 minutes to 24 hours.
  • Infinite (∞): Disables the automatic timeout. Warning: This is less secure and should only be used on a trusted, private device.

Visual Camouflage

This is a user interface setting designed to protect you from "shoulder surfing"—when someone is physically looking over your shoulder at your screen.

  • Function: When enabled, all sensitive data points on the UI, such as your token balance and full phone numbers, will be obscured and replaced with '••••••'.
  • Reveal Button: A temporary "REVEAL" button will appear, allowing you to view the data for a short time.

Chameleon Mode

This is the ultimate stealth feature for the HushCircuits application.

  • Function: When enabled, the entire application will transform into a functional, innocent-looking calculator. The dialer and all other UI elements will be completely hidden.
  • Unlocking: To unlock the app and return to the HushCircuits interface, you must "solve" an equation using your 6-digit PIN. For example, if your PIN is 123456, you would type 123456 = into the calculator.
  • Activation: This mode requires an application restart to engage or disengage.
