Settings: Phone & PIN

This screen is the control center for your core identity on the HushCircuits platform. Here, you manage your uplink vector (your real phone number) and your security PIN.

Identity Ritual

This section governs the two most fundamental pieces of your account.

  • Vector Registration (Uplink Number): This is where you register your real phone number. As explained in the Uplink & Identity Lock concept, our servers call this number first to create the secure bridge for your outbound calls.

    • To Set: Enter your full 11-digit phone number (e.g., 1-XXX-XXX-XXXX) and a new 6-digit PIN.
    • Identity Lock: Once set, this number becomes "locked" for your security.
  • Terminal Access PIN: This 6-digit PIN is your primary password for sensitive actions, such as changing your uplink number or linking a new device.

    • If you forget your PIN, recovery is not possible. You will lose access to your account. This is a critical security measure.

Persona Matrix (Spoof Profiles)

Here you can pre-configure different Caller ID "personas" to use. This saves you from having to type a new CID for every call.

  • LABEL: A short, memorable name for your persona (e.g., "WORK," "PERSONAL").
  • NUMBER: The 10-digit phone number you want to display for that persona.
  • Usage: Once saved, you will be able to select these personas from the main dialer screen.

This section provides a quick diagnostic of your connection to the HushCircuits network.

  • Uplink Status: Shows whether your registered phone number is reachable and ready to receive the first leg of a call.
  • SIGNAL_PING: This button sends a test packet to our servers to check latency (RTT) and connection quality, helping diagnose potential issues.
