Settings: Security & Telegram
This panel contains some of the most powerful—and critical—security features in HushCircuits. Here you can configure a Duress PIN for emergencies and link your account to a Telegram Mini App for on-the-go access.
Adversarial Defense: The Duress PIN
The Duress PIN is a "panic button" for your account. It is a separate, 6-digit PIN that you can enter instead of your real PIN if you are ever forced to unlock your account under duress.
ACTION:
- When you enter the Duress PIN, the app will appear to unlock normally.
- In the background, it will immediately and irreversibly shred all local call logs, delete all recordings, and reset your account balance to zero.
WARNING: This action is silent and cannot be undone. Use this feature with extreme caution. It is designed as a last resort to protect your data in a compromise situation.
Secure Link Protocol: Connecting to Telegram
You can link your HushCircuits account to our Telegram Mini App, allowing you to use the service from within the Telegram mobile app. The linking process is designed to be highly secure.
