Stealth Mode #

HushCircuits includes two visual stealth features that hide the app's true nature from anyone looking at your screen.

Chameleon Mode (Calculator Camouflage) #

How It Works #

When Chameleon Mode is enabled, opening HushCircuits displays a fully functional calculator instead of the dialer. The calculator works normally — you can do real math with it.

To reveal the real app, enter your 6-digit PIN on the calculator keypad and press =.

Enabling Chameleon Mode #

1. Go to Settings > Data & Privacy
2. Toggle Chameleon Mode on
3. The next time you open the app, you'll see the calculator

Using the Calculator #

The camouflage calculator supports:

• Basic arithmetic: +, -, ×, ÷
• Clear (C), negate (±), percentage (%)
• Standard number entry with decimal support

To unlock: type your PIN digits (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) and press =.

Visual Camouflage #

A separate feature from Chameleon Mode, Visual Camouflage obscures sensitive data displayed on screen:

• Phone numbers are partially masked
• Token balances are hidden
• Call history details are redacted

Enable it in Settings > Data & Privacy > Visual Camouflage toggle.

This is useful when you need to use the app but someone might see your screen — the interface remains functional but sensitive data is obscured.

When to Use Each #

Security Notes #

• Chameleon Mode relies on your PIN — choose a strong, non-obvious PIN
• Visual Camouflage is a display-only feature; data is still accessible via the API
• Neither feature affects call security — calls remain encrypted through the bridge regardless
