Section Breakdown

1. Header & Status

The top bar provides at-a-glance information about your status and quick access to other features.

  • Profile Avatar & Settings: The icon on the far left opens the main Settings Panel, where you can configure every aspect of your account.
  • Status Indicator: The small colored dot indicates your connection status. Green means you are connected and ready to make calls.
  • HushCircuits Logo: The central animated logo.
  • Lookup: This button opens the Phone Lookup screen, a tool for gathering information on phone numbers.

2. System Status & Banners

Just below the header, this area provides critical, real-time information.

  • Warning Banners: These will appear if your account has a low balance, is suspended, or requires you to set a callback number.
  • Status Strip: This shows the current status of your call (READY, CALLING, CALL ACTIVE, etc.).
  • Call Duration: When a call is active, a timer and estimated cost will appear here.

3. Caller ID (CID) Display

The cyan-accented window is for the number you want the recipient to see. This is the core of the identity masking feature.

  • Enter any phone number to display as your caller ID
  • Press LOCK CID to persist the number across calls
  • When locked, the button turns cyan and shows a lock icon

4. Voice Effects

Select a real-time voice modulation effect before dialing. See Voice Effects for details.

  • OFF: No effect — natural voice
  • DEEP: Lower pitch for basic disguise
  • ROBOT: Synthetic, mechanical voice
  • ANON: Full anonymization

5. Destination Display

The green-accented window is where you enter the number you want to call. Tap it to focus, then use the keypad.

6. The Dial Pad

A standard 12-button keypad for entering numbers. Digits are typed into whichever display field is currently focused (CID or Destination).

7. Action Buttons

  • DEL — Deletes the last digit from the focused display
  • CLR — Clears the entire number from the focused display
  • DIAL — Initiates the secure bridge call (requires a valid destination)
  • HANG UP — Ends an active call (replaces DIAL during a call)
